The Sensory Deprivation Skull is a chamber of sorts in which you can sit and essentially cut yourself off from the world. Designed by Dutch design firm Atelier Van Lieshout and has two large doors that open out to reveal a very comfy space, complete with a soft lambskin lining.

Atelier Van Lieshout (AVL), is located in a warehouse in the Rotterdam harbour, and was founded by artist Joep Van Lieshout (1963) in 1995. It is a multidisciplinary art practice encompassing installation, design, furniture and architecture. The name Atelier Van Lieshout emphasises the fact that the works of art do not stem solely from the creative brain of Joep van Lieshout, but are produced by a creative team of artists, designers and architects.
